Once a transaction is completed, it is automatically archived. This operation may take a few seconds or minutes depending on the number of documents and participants.
Archiving a transaction includes:
- all signed documents,
- the evidence file (sender version),
- the evidence file
By default, all documents of completed transactions are archived through our Universign archiving system and can be retrieved via /archives endpoints.
However, if you have an Arkhineo electronic safe, you can also archive your signed documents via our Arkhineo connector. In this case, we provide you with the archiving configuration ID you should use in your API requests.
