Keep your browser up to date for a safe and smooth experience with Universign’s signature page.
Using a browser version that is more than 3 years old can affect your experience — and not only with our service.
Why you should keep your browser up to date
- Reduced security: known vulnerabilities that are several years old are no longer patched, which increases your exposure during your online processes.
- Degraded features: some screens or buttons may display incorrectly or stop working (document preview, forms, validation buttons).
- Risk of being blocked: over time, some websites — including ours — may no longer be able to guarantee compatibility, as a stronger security measure.
Note that outdated browser versions are not something we control. For example, if you use an old version of Chrome, it is Google — not Universign — that has stopped releasing security patches for it. The same applies to Firefox. You need to update your browser yourself for it to keep working properly with our signature page.
Which versions we support
We guarantee support and proper functioning for the following versions:
| Browser | Supported versions |
|---|---|
| Chrome | 2 most recent versions |
| Firefox | latest and extended support release (ESR) |
| Edge | 2 most recent major versions |
| Safari | 2 most recent major versions |
| iOS | 2 most recent major versions |
| Android | 2 most recent major versions |
Older versions may also work, but without guarantee.
Recommendations: Check that automatic updates are enabled: browsers usually update automatically, but this isn’t always the case — especially on older devices. In that case, it is up to you to enable the update yourself on your device.
